Westford Remembers 2022 in review: Collected and paid out $70,128.40

Every one of these $$$ was a donation raised from events such as: a Cow Patty Palooza, Super Bowl squares, Dining for a Cause and others. Your donations paid for rent, car insurance, medical bills and nursing care so that a 92 year old could bring her 62 yr old daughter home to die. We paid security deposits for fire victims, raised $$$ for a young dementia-stricken husband’s family, we contributed to the cost of funeral expenses, we paid for a college deposit for a young woman who lost her father, and a fence for a young boy who has many medical issues who loves to run straight for the street.

We work closely with our town’s social workers as part of a total solution to a need. We have worked with organizations like St Vincent de Paul to help meet the needs of our residents. Donations from the community are our biggest asset, your generosity funds these efforts.
